RESTON, Va. (PRWEB) October 25, 2022
Evoke Consulting, a leading management consultant to the federal government, was awarded a CIO-SP3 Task Order by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation Business Center/Information Solution Division (FPAC-BC/ISD) to support the Service Strategy and Planning Branch (SSPB) in evaluating potential technical solutions to address new requirements over the next 5-10 years. These solutions will help enable FPAC’s four agencies including the Farm Service Agency (FSA), Risk Management Agency (RMA), Natural Resources and Conservation Service (NRCS), and the Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC-BC), to achieve USDA’s organizational vision, strategies, and priorities. Delivery to USDA’s geographically dispersed stakeholders will occur virtually by a team of dedicated professionals for up to five years with the exercise of all options.
Evoke and strategic partners SAIC and Pembroke Partners, LLC will collaborate with SSPB in developing an actionable multi-year IT and investment strategy to guide IT modernization, capitalize on shared investments, eliminate duplication of effort, and ensure software re-use in rationalizing the IT portfolio.
Evoke Managing Partner, Jim Loreto, stated, “FPAC-BC/ISD is going through a major cultural change. As part of this conversion, FPAC is standardizing processes across four agencies, migrating to Agile (and SAFe), the AWS Cloud, DevSecOps, and CICD. SSPB is at the forefront to help lead the organization in this change and Evoke is proud to support FPAC through this critical transformation.”
Farm Production and Conservation was established in 2018 to deliver personalized customer service to stakeholders in every state and county through similar resources, programs, and tools. FPAC’s focus areas include domestic agricultural issues and offering production and conservation tools, financial assistance, and technical advice along with commodity, lending, and disaster programs for America’s farmers, ranchers, and private foresters.
Greg Blaisdell, Evoke’s Managing Partner, added, “FPAC has always taken a lead position at USDA to pave the way for innovation and change. We are honored to continue building upon the foundation SAIC started at FPAC and working together with all our partners and stakeholders to better serve FPAC customers in the long term.”
