Upstate Fiber Networks (UFN), announced significant progress in its construction of high-speed fiber internet in communities throughout the Finger Lakes region. To date, UFN services more than 15,189 homes, and has invested $23 Million into the area.
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y., Oct. 24, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Upstate Fiber Networks (UFN), announced significant progress in its construction of high-speed fiber internet in communities throughout the Finger Lakes region. To date, UFN services more than 15,189 homes, and has invested $23 Million into the area.
Upstate Fiber Networks is excited to announce finalized builds within the following communities:
- Construction in Waterloo is now complete and service is available to 2,368 homes.
- Construction in Seneca Falls is now complete and service is available to 3,146 homes.
- Construction in Geneva is now complete and service is available to 4,897 homes.
- Construction in Newark is now complete and service is available to 3,800 homes.
Construction is rapidly underway in the following communities:
- Canandaigua – 63 miles of fiber are under construction and more than 1,225 homes can currently sign up for service. By the end of fall we will be able to service a total of 5,400 homes.
- Palmyra, Macedon, Port Gibson – 54 miles of fiber are under construction. By the end of fall we will be able to service a total of 2,757 homes.
