Making Christmas brighter for local children is just a part of Nuvision Credit Union's purpose as a community partner, and this Christmas the Credit Union has organized several toy drives to bring holiday cheer to hundreds of kids in need.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Dec. 5, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Making Christmas brighter for local children is just a part of Nuvision Credit Union's purpose as a community partner, and this Christmas the Credit Union has organized several toy drives to bring holiday cheer to hundreds of kids in need. These NuvisionCares programs are part of Nuvision's desire to build positive lives for kids in the communities who may be facing hardship during the holiday season.

WYOMING
The Credit Union holds a toy drive in association with the nationally recognized Toys for Tots campaigns for children in Laramie and Natrona/Converse counties.

ALASKA
Nuvision's holiday toy drives support various local efforts in:

  • Anchorage – in association with the Anchorage Cops for community program, Nuvision is supporting the "Project Angel Tree" and "Shop with a Cop & Firefighter" programs.
  • Wasilla – The Mat-Su Special Santa Program is the supported agency in the Valley.
  • Fairbanks – Toys will be donated to the Fairbanks Santa's Helpers program.
  • Juneau – The Family Promise of Juneau is the featured non-profit in the state's capitol.
  • Kenai – Operation Children First is the non-profit supported in Kenai.

CALIFORNIA
This holiday season, we are participating in Huntington Beach Police Department's Shop with a Cop program. Officers will have breakfast with a student, then the officers and students will then ride a bus together to Target to do some shopping.

Nuvision also runs a Toys for Tots campaign at its Southern California branches.
