Focus EduSolutions, in partnership with Arkansas Tech University, is excited to announce the launch of micro-credentials in Food Truck Entrepreneurship and Trucking Operations. These two innovative micro-credentials were designed by industry experts for those looking to start a new profession or further their career in either the food truck or trucking industry. Both micro-credentials will teach the basics and fundamentals of how to be successful in either career path.

Food Truck Entrepreneurship offers start-to-finish content on starting a food truck, successfully operating a truck, and navigating the challenges that can arise in the industry. From your business plan to menu designing, marketing to financial planning, inventory to hiring, and knowing your state’s food truck regulations, this credential provides the details and information you need to know to successfully get your food truck up and running. Food Truck Entrepreneurship can also be very helpful to those currently in the industry and operating a truck who are looking to improve their skills and business success.

Trucking Operations is for the new-to-trucking or entry-level trucking industry employee looking for an overview of trucking company operations, roles within the industry, and critical industry standards and regulations. This credential is also for the aspiring transportation operations manager who is learning to manage all transportation or hauling needs within a business. Trucking Operations covers how trucking and freight operations work across the United States, the foundations for various types of freight, trucking equipment, trucking loads, driver planning and driver hours of service, processes for being able to plan and dispatch loads to drivers, customer service, and basic understanding of accounting principles that are necessary for trucking management.

Enrollment is now open for Food Truck Entrepreneurship and Trucking Operations. The first start date for both credentials is Tuesday, January 3rd. For more information on our micro-credential offerings visit partnerships.focusedusolutions.com/atu/home.
