Winners of 2022 Houston CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards Announced

HoustonCIO recognized chief information officers in seven key categories – Leadership, Super Global, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Corporate, & Nonprofit/Public Sector. The Awards were presented at the Houston CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards at the Marriott Marquis Houston.

- Anthony Dayao, CIO, Motiva Enterprises received the Large Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $3 billion annual revenue.
- Ken Piddington, VP & CIO, U.S. Silica received the Enterprise ORBIE for organizations over $500 million annual revenue.
- Rennu Varghese, VP & CIO, The Friedkin Group received the Corporate ORBIE for organizations up to $500 million annual revenue.
- Amanda Hammel, SVP & CIO, Memorial Hermann Health System received the Nonprofit/Public Sector ORBIE for healthcare, education & public sector organizations over $500 million annual revenue.
The CIO of the Year ORBIE Awards is the premier technology executive recognition program in the United States.
