Rick's Plant Health Care Donates to Brandywine Valley SPCA
Giving back is a way of life for us. We are committed to the communities we serve, which means we are intentional about using our time, talents, and resources to make a difference in these communities.
WEST CHESTER, Pa. (PRWEB) July 21, 2022
Rick's Plant Health Care has continued its tradition of giving back to the local community, by serving as a corporate sponsor for the 2022 Walk 4 Paws event at West Goshen Community Park in West Chester, PA. The event benefited the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPA). As a corporate sponsor, Rick's Plant Health Care donated $1,000. The Brandywine Valley SPCA is one of several local charities that John Rogalsky, ISA-Certified Arborist and founder of Rick’s Plant Health Care supports each year.
The Brandywine SPCA holds a special place in Rogalsky’s heart, as he adopted his own dog, Roman, from the nonprofit group. Roman now serves as an esteemed alumnus of BVSPCA, and as the beloved mascot for Rick’s Plant Health Care. "The BVSPA does incredible work to save animal lives. It was the first no-kill, open-admission shelter in Pennsylvania. Rick’s Plant Health Care is thrilled to support their efforts. I can’t thank them enough for saving Roman," Rogalsky said.
The corporate sponsorship comes on the heels of other donations made by Rick's Plant Health Care this year. In addition to serving as a Corporate Sponsor for the Walk 4 Paws fundraiser, Rick’s Plant Health Care, which provides complete tree and shrub care to homeowners in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties donated more than $3,000 to the non-profit earlier this year.
"Giving back is a way of life for us at Rick’s," said Rogalsky. "We are committed to the communities we serve, which means we are intentional about using our time, talents, and resources to make a difference in these communities."
In addition to the BVSPA, Rick’s Plant Health Care counts the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry and the Greenhouse Project as community partners they support. Both non-profit organizations also received donations of more than $3,000 from Rick’s Plant Health Care earlier this year.
Rick’s Plant Health Care is a locally owned and operated small business providing a comprehensive tree wellness program, and insect and disease control. Helmed by Rogalsky, who holds the designation of Certified Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture, Rick’s Plant Health Care provides a variety of state-of-the-art applications for trees and shrubs that improves the visual aesthetics of properties and helps maintain the overall health of landscapes. Services include deep root feeding, growth regulation, property inspections, insect and disease treatment, and more.
"At Rick's Plant Health Care, we’ve made it our business to nurture and care for living things. We love it. We’re fortunate to be able to support organizations that also spend their time caring for living things including individuals and animals. We look forward to many years of supporting these wonderful organizations," Rogalsky said.
