Euclid Life Science Specialty (ELSS) launches its Career Advocacy Program, dedicated to enhancing career and learning opportunities in the cross section of the insurance and life science industries, with two hires. The ELSS Career Advocacy Program mission includes enhanced education of employees, apprentices, and interns, including both graduates and undergraduate students, to increase subject matter and to contribute to the sustainability of talent and insurance industry perpetuation in the Life Science insurance specialty.
ITASCA, Ill., May 5, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Euclid Life Science Specialty, LLC, (ELSS) an Itasca-based specialty program administrator for life science liability, is proud to announce and welcome Sarah Harriman as its first Life Science Underwriting Apprentice as part of the company's newly established Career Advocacy Program.
In the apprentice role, Sarah will launch her insurance career learning the complex craft of Life Science liability underwriting. She will be shadowing and assisting the ELSS underwriting team in all areas including rating, research, and risk analysis.
Ms. Harrison recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She brings valuable experience received from the healthcare industry, with four years as a physical therapy aide and intern assignments in autism treatment plans, geriatric and musculoskeletal therapies, and general healthcare operations.

We are also thrilled to announce the addition of Julianne Elliott as a Sales, Marketing and Distribution Intern. Ms. Elliott is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Marketing at the College of Charleston. In support of the ongoing ELSS Career Advocacy Program activities, Julianne will join ELSS leadership in learning about and assisting in insurance industry marketing, public relations, distributor outreach, and event and media management.
