“I’m very pleased that Blake has joined CCX. He is the perfect addition to our advisory group helping to make the CCX tech stack not only the first of its kind but also the best-informed software product for market access professionals.” - Carole Longson

CCX, the market access software leader, announced today that Blake Dark has joined the company’s advisory board. With a deep understanding of both the constraints and possibilities in market access, Dark will advise on both the design of CCX’s transformational platform and commercial strategy.
“We're experiencing incredible life science innovation. This means more volume and complexity for market access teams at both payer and pharma. Most of that work needs to be done by people, but software can take on some of that burden,” said Nathan Sigworth, Founder & CEO of CCX. “Blake's unique perspective from both industry and payer will help us better support this important work."
Dark was NHS’s chief negotiator with the pharmaceutical industry until late 2022. He holds a partnership at Newmarket Strategy and has served as a member of Sanofi’s UK and European Leadership Teams. During his 4 years at NHS England Dark led high profile access negotiations with the pharma industry and developed the Commercial Framework for New Medicines, developed unique insights in how to break down systemic issues with access to innovation.
As CCX builds software tools to support the market access work of both pharma and payers, Dark’s perspective will help CCX develop and roll out new tools that will equip the ecosystem for access to a new generation of therapies.
Dark joins other advisors of CCX including Carole Longson, former Executive Director at NICE, Brian O’Rourke, former CEO of CADTH and President Elect of ISPOR, and a number of other leaders in market access from both industry and payer.
“I’m very excited to support CCX and join such a prestigious group of advisors,” said Blake Dark. “CCX fulfills a distinct unmet need at the market access interface of pharma and healthcare systems where technology can speed patient access to medicines.”
“I’m very pleased that Blake has joined the CCX advisory board. He is the perfect addition to our advisory group helping to make the CCX tech stack not only the first of its kind but also the best-informed software product for market access professionals,” said Carole Longson.
CCX is a software company building and deploying the tech stack for market access: software tools to plan, execute and administer access agreements between pharma and payers. What Veeva has done for pharma sales teams, what Carta has done for cap table management, CCX is doing for market access teams at pharma and payers.
