Tianma showcasing wide range of new display products and prototype technologies at Display Week 2023
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) May 25, 2023 -- Tianma, a leading global manufacturer of flat panel displays, will be exhibiting a wide variety of new display technologies and solutions at Display Week 2023, Booth #613, Los Angeles, California, May 23-25.
Tianma will be showcasing approximately 50 display demonstration units, including new prototypes and recently introduced products. In addition, Tianma has entered several new cutting-edge products and technologies into SID’s annual Display Industry Awards and the People's Choice Awards competitions, honoring the best product, component, and application of the preceding year, as well as the best products at Display Week.
Tianma’s featured products at Display Week 2023 will include:
CONSUMER: 9.94" AMOLED Triple-fold CUP+HTD+CFOT – The 9.94” Tri-fold display (“Z” shape) includes both a U-shaped outer folding hinge and a Y-shaped inner folding water drop hinge. This allows the display to be fully expanded and used as a tablet or, when needed, folded to be used as a smartphone. This provides greater flexibility, making it suitable for both work and personal use, such as mobile office, gaming, or watching videos.
AUTOMOTIVE: 8.75" Transparent Micro-LED display – The 8.75” transparent Micro-LED achieves high transparency (over 65%) and low reflectivity (below 4%), utilizing black material (BPDL) plus AR film to achieve improved image quality, making objects behind the screen look clearer.
AUTOMOTIVE: The Smart Cockpit, Large-Size Mini-LED + Privacy – The curved 27” Mini-LED integrated display combines switchable privacy technology with invisible display technology, providing a more immersive driver experience, while at the same time significantly reducing unnecessary distractions when the display seamlessly blends into the vehicle interior. The use of Mini-LED helps to achieve outstanding optical performance, including high dynamic CR > 200000:1, with 1344 dimming zones.
INDUSTRIAL: A-Series and P-Series products – The new A-Series (AI / IoT) standard panel products and P-Series (Professional) standard TFT LCD modules are dedicated to support the various requirements and needs of the industrial and medical display markets. The P-Series display products will be available in three grades – Advanced, Basic and Entry – to better support the different customer needs in a variety of markets, including a range of features and product specifications around pixel density, viewing angle, contrast ratio, color gamut, black level uniformity, etc. The A-Series standard panel products are for higher volume applications, typically needing some level of customization for the final module solution. Examples of both product families will be on display, including the new 12.1" XGA P1210XGF1MB00, with a luminance of 500 nits, resolution of 1024 (RGB) x 768, and operating temperature rated at -30~80 deg C.
PCAP Touch Technology Portfolio – The Tianma Group has dedicated extensive resources to in-house development and manufacturing capabilities, ensuring ongoing advancement of its PCAP (Projected Capacitive) Touch technology. With these continuous improvements, Tianma can offer high quality, integrated PCAP solutions across numerous applications. In addition to providing customers with a variety of touch technologies, Tianma can also provide customers with a wide range of value-added services.
Tianma’s PCAP portfolio includes: Optical Bonding Technology; Wet & Glove Technology; Touch Embedded Display (TED) Technology; On-cell Touch Technology; Force Touch Technology; 3D Touch Technology; Active/Passive Stylus Pen Technology; and Multimodal Tactile Feedback.
SMART SENSOR: Microfluidics and Liquid Crystal Antenna – The Microfluidic chip is used for the manipulation of fluids and can be applied in biological, chemical and medical fields. Panel level microfluidic chips take advantage of the mature process used for display panels, to make possible mass-produced, high-precision, high-throughput, low-cost, portable and programmable sensors.
The Liquid Crystal Phased Array Antenna is used for receiving and transmitting communication signals, and can be used in satellite communication, base station communication, vehicle mobile phone terminals and other fields. The LC antenna uses the mature technology of the panel, having the advantages of small size, low profile and easy integration, low power consumption, low cost, and continuous phase adjustment.
Along with the display prototypes and new product introductions, Tianma will also be exhibiting a variety of other products . Technologies featured include: LTPS, OLED, high resolution, wide viewing angle, outdoor viewable, wide format and high bright a-Si TFT display products, including products specifically designed for key display applications such as mobile, wearable, automotive, avionics, home automation, HMI, FA, POS and medical.
