Thanks to Airmart, These Home Bakers are Opening a Brick-and-Mortar Bakery
Redwood City, CA (PRWEB) June 28, 2023 -- For the last few years, wife-and-husband duo Rowe and Jack of Sweet Pipers bakery have been selling their homemade buko pies and other ube-flavored Filipino desserts through Airmart, the online ordering platform that serves as the bakery's website.
Now, thanks to their success with online orders and events, Sweet Pipers will open a brick-and-mortar bakery in Pinole, CA this July.
Rowe and Jack started Sweet Pipers as a cottage bakery out of their home in Northern California. The small side hustle soon blossomed into a full-blown bakery serving Island-inspired pastries at events around the Bay Area and taking delivery and pickup orders via Airmart.
The pair aren't the only home bakers who have used Airmart to launch successful bakeries. Honolulu Rose Cake Shop will also be moving into a brick-and-mortar location this year.
Airmart provides an in-depth guide for starting a bakery from home for inspired bakers who want to follow in these entrepreneurs' footsteps.
Airmart is an e-commerce platform specifically designed for food vendors. It is the online ordering hub for farms, personal chefs, catering companies, and of course, home bakeries. The Redwood City-based startup was founded by a former Pinterest engineer in 2017 and currently serves vendors in California, Washington, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, New York, and Vermont.
