TCM Gives Back to Teachers and Students with Read Across America

TCM employees will celebrate Read Across America and beautify a school campus.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Feb. 23, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Teacher Created Materials (TCM), an educational publishing company headquartered in Huntington Beach, CA will be living out their vision to "create a world in which children love to learn" by celebrating Read Across America on March 2, 2023 at Lugo Elementary School in the Lynwood California School District, as well as in schools across the nation, and in select schools located in U.S. territories. Read Across America was launched in 1998 by the NEA and a committee of educators to recognize the power of reading to and with children. It is our nation's largest celebration of reading. Community members and parents are encouraged to connect with local schools to share a passion for literacy and learning by reading in classrooms and at home.

Over 100 employee volunteers of Teacher Created Materials will be reading and engaging in fun literacy lessons with students across the nation. At Lugo Elementary, local employees will also participate in several beautification projects of the school as part of the Read Across America project.

Participating in Read Across America, and giving back to teachers across our nation, is a time-honored tradition at Teacher Created Materials. The organization has been actively engaging in Read Across America with local schools for over 10 years.
