Creative Juice, banking and funding for creators, joins the ranks of OpenAI, Disney, Tiffany & Co., and more.
SAN FRANCISCO, March 2, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This year's list highlights the businesses at the forefront of their respective industries, paving the way for the innovations of tomorrow. These companies are setting the standard with some of the greatest accomplishments of the modern world. In addition to the World's 50 Most Innovative Companies, 540 organizations are recognized across 54 sectors and regions.
"We're honored and humbled to be recognized as an innovator in the creator economy alongside so many incredible companies," says Sima Gandhi, CEO and Co-Founder of Creative Juice. "Our ambition is to create opportunity through funding, banking and automated business tools that creators otherwise don't have access to. Juice helps creators scale their businesses, connect with fellow creators and pursue their long-term dreams. There is an urgent need for better financial solutions that ensure creator businesses can grow now and in the future – that's what Juice is solving."
Creative Juice's mission is to grow the creator economy. In a brief two years, their product suite has expanded to an all-in-one creator business banking account merging income, expenses, invoicing and more. Creative Juice also funds creative futures, called Juice Funds, so creators can stay in control of their content and supercharge their growth. Their full-service product suite allows creators to focus on what they do best - creating.
With automated business tools and funding, Creative Juice has helped creators grow their businesses. In fact, 70% of Juice creators have grown their teams by hiring editors, writers, managers and more thanks to Juice Funds. And more than 2x of Juice creators have increased their output as a result of upgrading their equipment and accessing Juice's community and resources.
Creative Juice raised $15M for their Series A in April 2022 along with a $50M fund for personalized creator investments, Juice Funds. The Series A was Led by Acrew Capital, with participation by Meena Harris, Concrete Rose, Larry Fitzgerald and TikToker Jared Waldrom, among others. Existing investors also include Mr. Beast, Inspired and Index. This investment gave Creative Juice resources to enhance financial products, access more creators and build out banking products. To date, Creative Juice has invested millions to support creator careers.
Helping creators grow means increasing support to underrepresented communities. Research shows that underrepresented creators make significantly less money than their white counterparts. This gap is found to be 29%. Creative Juice is working to close that gap. In fact, more than 50% of Juice Funds creators are from underrepresented communities and Creative Juice recently launched their inaugural program, Black Creator Incubator, providing $25k in funds and educational resources to Black creators.
This is just the beginning of their efforts to grow the creator economy. Due to the accessibility of becoming an entrepreneur, countless creators are monetizing in ways they never imagined. But financial tools and banking platforms have not grown as fast as the creator economy. And that's why creators need access to a financial and banking solution. That's where Creative Juice comes in.
Fast Company's editors and writers sought out the companies making the biggest strides around the globe. They also judged nominations received through their application process.
