Account Control Technology Donates $31,980 to End Breast Cancer
Woodland Hills, Calif. (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Account Control Technology, Inc. (ACT), a national leader in delivering debt management and recovery solutions, recently donated $31,980 to Susan G. Komen®, a nonprofit organization which works to end breast cancer in the U.S. and throughout the world through ground-breaking research, community health outreach, advocacy and programs in more than 30 countries.
The donation includes money raised by ACT’s employees in local offices located in Bakersfield, California; Woodland Hills, California; Mason, Ohio; Dallas, Texas, and San Angelo, Texas. The company contributed additional funds in honor of its clients, and the Account Control Technology Foundation matched ACT employee donations as part of its charter to fund vital charities.
Every October for the past three years, ACT has held a company-wide fundraising campaign to benefit Komen and commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Offices typically run contests, raffles, bake sales and other events to encourage participation.
“Each year ACT’s donation to Susan G. Komen has grown larger, which is a testament to Komen’s great work as well as the service-oriented spirit of our staff,” said Nabil Kabbani, CEO of ACT. “We are pleased to once again lend our support in the fight against breast cancer, which is an important cause to our employees, clients and communities.”
ACT has a history of delivering support to national charities as well as local community organizations. In addition, the Account Control Technology Foundation often matches donations made by employees, while also sponsoring local and national college scholarship programs.
