Nationally Recognized Health Experts Release Their Third Book, Age To Perfection: How To Thrive To 100, Happy, Healthy, And Wise; and Begin Book Tour
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- The multi-city media tour has begun for the authors of Age to Perfection and the book is gaining significant attention as the authors continue to bring their message of health and longevity to the masses. Their message is well-received by people of all ages as the life expectancy age continues to climb.
“We want people to know that living to 100 is becoming a common occurrence. Everyone should be thinking about what 80, 90, and even 100 will look like for them. People need to know that the choices they make in the early decades of their life have a significant impact on later years,” states Mark Anderson, MD.
In Age to Perfection, the authors outline what readers should expect at each decade of life, explaining that not all body parts age at the same rate. They also give advice on staying young and healthy that is backed by the latest solid research. The book helps the reader inventory their health risks, understand those risks, and then lower them for a chance at a longer, healthier life.
"Weeding through all the propaganda on healthy aging can be tricky so we're offering advice that is backed by real research. We want readers to understand why some people are old at 50, while others are young at 90. Once they understand the basis of aging, they can help themselves to a better way of life,” explains Judy Gaman
The authors also bring a new concept to aging and health management. They coined the term AVAT Factor, a measurement of various metrics combined to help a healthcare provider and patient understand their true age, not just their chronological number. This is the first measurement of its kind, which looks at a patients overall health and not just segments or specific organ systems.
The authors are currently touring through the media and the upcoming stops include Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Richmond, Chicago, and Memphis. They can also be heard on various radio shows internationally over the next few months. During the trip to Memphis, they will be touring with Lucille Fleming, a spry centenarian who is featured in the book.
