Aleratec Adds 16-Target Hard Disk Duplicator with Certified Sanitization to Its Industrial High-Speed Line

The 1:16 HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed hard disk drive duplicator and sanitizer features amazing hard disk copy rates of up to 120 MB per second, as well as a third-party verified 7-pass sanitization function. This model can duplicate up to 16 hard drives at a time or sanitize up to 17 hard drives at a time.
A leader in forensic data recovery services has independently verified that the data on hard drives sanitized by the 7-pass Overwrite function in this new duplicator have been “"destroyed" and meet the criteria of NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) 800-88. Other options in hard disk drive sanitization that remove your data from the drive include a one-pass wipe and a three-pass wipe with verify. Finally, the 1:16 HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed duplicator and sanitizer offers the fast and efficient Secure Erase, a NIST 800-88 accepted technique for purging hard drives.

Ideally suited for manufacturers, IT departments, businesses, and government agencies, models in the HDD Copy Cruiser High-Speed family are compatible with 3.5 inch SATA hard disk drives and solid state drives (SSDs), and can also accept 2.5 inch SATA drives when combined with Aleratec’s 2.5 inch SATA hard drive adapters (Aleratec part number 350106) that are available separately for purchase.
