Allison Kennedy Zeitlin & Company Realtors Hosts Gentle Carousel Mini Therapy Horses
(PRWEB) November 14, 2013 -- Allison Kennedy, a retired Equine Therapist, fundraises for Gentle Carousel and has been their official go-to girl/host in Nashville for the past year. Meet the Mini’s event will take place this spring and focus on introducing these amazing little guys to the Nashville population while sharing stories of their journeys throughout the year.
In addition to hosting, Allison has taken it upon herself to raise the money for and donate a Spirit van to the non-profit, Gentle Carousel at the event. “This much needed and new transportation will give the horses more comfort in their travels and better access to the facilities that they so often visit. Gentle Carousel, an all-volunteer nonprofit charity, has to date sent their teams of miniature therapy horses to visit over 25,000 adults and children each year inside hospitals, hospice programs, assisted living programs and families who have experienced traumatic events. Their little therapy horses bring special love where it is needed most. Recently, two of the Gentle Carousel Horses, Magic and Hamlet were named as two of the famous Breyer Ponies.
