The Gift Lounge will take place January 10-11, 2014 at an exclusive location in Beverly Hills, California.
Ivy Ho, photographer/owner, says her company will be gifting its “I Love You” and “Rhapsody” photo greeting cards to select members of the press and media at The Artisan Group® exhibit. “Since Valentine’s Day is only a month after the Golden Globes, I thought it would be fun to include cards that invoke feelings of love and the joy of being in love,” she noted.
The “I Love You” greeting card symbolizes affection with a collection of heart-shaped lavender bouquets in a white wicker basket. “Rhapsody” celebrates the strength of love in a striking grouping of red coneflowers. The 4” x 6” photo greeting cards have matching white envelopes for mailing or gifting giving and are packaged in a white portrait case with a sea foam ribbon. Both images are also available as art prints and iPhone cases.
Ivy describes her photographs as a “collection of travel memories,” where travel is defined as her every day journeys through life. Her goal is to share with viewers through her portrait and street scenery the glimpses of beauty and soul she encounters.
Capturing the fleeting beauty of moments in time is often spontaneous but Ivy continues to examine the scene or object in the editing studio, exploring and excavating until she has revealed the essence of the image.
"The Yellow Umbrella," a black and white street scene that depicts a lady with a yellow umbrella wading across the Charles Bridge on a gloomy winter morning is perhaps Ivy’s most iconic image, and one of her most popular. She is currently working on a series called “Worship,” which is still in the conceptualization stage.
