Connecticut-Based Web-Series Animation Chefs Are Crowd-Funding a License-able By-Kids-for-Kids Media Workshop for Tablet Computers
Danbury, Connecticut (PRWEB) May 07, 2014 -- "We have taught hundreds of kids under 12yrs of age the skills required to use tablet computers to make animated movies," says Ben Summerhays, one of the Animation Chefs. Animating Kids! will consist of 100+ video lessons and support materials and will packaged as an out-of-the-box solution business opportunity for private organizations, non-profits, schools, youth centers, or media clubs. "Kids love apps. Animating Kids! helps them actively produce media with apps, rather than passively consume them," Ben adds.
Funds raised will be dedicated to shooting, editing, licensing, and marketing Animating Kids! "Parents love our system," adds Noah Summerhays, also one of the Animation Chefs. "It involves math, hypothesizing, writing, spacial skills, storytelling, technology, team work, and many other areas of learning. The kids love it because they make their own unique movies and can take these skills home to practice on their own devices."
The Animation Chef's Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign is at http://www.animationchefs.com.In addition to a more detailed description of Animating Kids!, on the campaign page they are offering access to all the videos, Skype sessions, sponsorships, custom videos, and on-site training as perks for contributors.
Crowd-funding enables people with a great business idea to ask the general public for the funding they need to set up or expand. The business sets a target for the money it wants to raise and explains how it will use the cash. People can then make pledges for small amounts of money in return for a reward within a set time period after the campaign ends.
