Anvil, The Most User-Friendly and Affordable Consumer 3D Printer, to Exhibit at CES 2016
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) December 21, 2015 -- The Anvil team will showcase their compact, auto-loading 3D printer at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2016. They will be exhibiting and holding live demonstrations in booth #80758, Eureka Park. The team will show how the simple, high-quality 3D printer uses Lego-like modeling software, along with a remote control and iPad app, to allow consumers to print from anywhere with the push of a button.
“Our team is proud to showcase the Anvil 3D printer at CES,” Athena Sun, head of marketing and spokesperson for Anvil, said. “We are humbled to be among such great innovators and are looking forward to showing others how easy and approachable our printer is. Sharing the fascinating, creative experience of 3D printing is very rewarding for us. It is our hope that the Anvil 3D printer can make everyone’s imagination come to life.”
The Anvil 3D printer has an enclosed print area with unique features that make the 3D modeling and printing processes effortless. The machine uses auto-loading mechanics to feed filament directly into the extruder, eliminating the need to manually insert the feedstock, as seen with first generation fabricators. In terms of software, Anvil incorporates a “Lego-like” modeling tool into its 3D printer control software, making the design process as simple as building Lego toys. Anvil also has a library of models for those who do not wish to compose their own.
The simplified 3D printer has just one button that prints, automatically, when pressed, allowing anyone to operate the machine. Users of other 3D printers typically have to spend time learning a complex software prior to use, prohibiting them from experiencing the fun of creating. It has been Anvil’s mission, from the start, to put the joy back into 3D printing, bringing it into homes and allowing anyone to become a designer.
Anvil expects to launch a campaign on Kickstarter on February 23, 2016. For more information on the Anvil 3D Printer or to schedule an interview at CES, please contact alyssa(at)anviltech.com or visit http://bit.ly/WinAnvil.
