ArrestRecords.us.org to Create Guide to Responsible Gun Use
Denver, CO (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- ArrestRecords.us.org is launching a campaign to teach people how act responsibly when out in public with their guns, the company announced yesterday.
“As more and more states allow people to have open-carry permits, more and more people are going to be out in public with their weapons,” an ArrestRecords.us.org spokesman said. “While this can be good for the overall public safety, there has not been a lot of education about the responsible ways to carry. We want to change that so people don't unknowingly create dangerous situations.”
ArrestRecords.us.org said their main thrust will be to teach people ways not to antagonize people with their visible weapons.
“People who carry their guns in public want to protect people,” he said. “They don't want to terrify them or make a bad situation worse. We can help with that. There are some fairly simple steps people can take to be responsible with their guns in public.”
The guide will be posted on the company's website, released through social media, and posted on their blog. It will take the form of a series of articles describing different situations open-carry gun owners may find themselves in, he said.
“This is the kind of public service that ArrestRecords.us.org wants to be involved in,” he said. “Arming the common man can be a good thing, but only if he or she doesn't make bad situations worse.”
