ArrestRecords.us.org Launches Online Reference Guide To Legal Terms
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- ArrestRecords.us.org announced yesterday that the company is set to launch a guide to the sometimes difficult legal terms that appear in their reports, a representative said.
“We've been upgrading our reports to be even more comprehensive, but that can also mean more legal jargon to sift through,” an ArrestRecords.us.org spokesman said. “In a recent meeting with our customer service staff, they mentioned that more customers were asking what specific portions of the reports meant. This reference guide will be in response to that.”
The reference guide will include abbreviations, archaic terms still in use, and the kinds of terms used at each stage of arrest, including arraignment, trial, sentencing, and release from prison, he said.
“Many people think they know the terms because of TV shows and films,” he said. “They do their best to be realistic, but when it's happening to someone in a person's real life, suddenly it can seem confusing. We hope this guide will give them more confidence in knowing what's really happening.”
The ArrestRecords.us.org guide will be available in the members' section of the website, as well as through the company's social media outlets, he said.
“An arrest or, heaven forbid, a conviction can be a major event in a person's life. Everyone deserves to have this information, not just our customers.”
However, the online reference guide will concentrate on the terms that most often appear on the paid reports that customers receive.
“We want to help as many people as we can, but our number one priority is making our customers happy. So the first version of the guide will have the terms that they had the most questions about,” he said.
