Asher College Opens a Larger Centrally-located Campus for Career Training in Las Vegas, Nevada
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) August 15, 2016 -- Asher College announces the opening of its new, expanded campus in central Las Vegas. The 15,000 square-foot facility, located at 6029 West Charleston Boulevard, is triple in size of the previous campus.
“We are thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter in Asher College’s history,” said David Vice, Asher College President. “This expansion has been long-awaited and we look forward to being able to serve more students in Las Vegas.”
Founded in 1998, Asher College offers accredited certificate and Associate degree training programs in Information Technology, Administrative Health Services and Business Accounting and Administration. It currently has three campuses located in Sacramento, CA, Dallas, TX, and Las Vegas, NV.
“Since our opening in Las Vegas in 2011, we have continued to grow in our educational programs, driving the need for a larger facility,” said Tom Bezek, Las Vegas Campus Director. “The new location will allow us to expand our programming and better accommodate our students, aligning with our mission of providing quality, market-driven education.”
The new campus is in an updated, state-of-the-art facility that allows for larger classrooms and additional lecture and meeting rooms. The centralized location is also significantly served by public transportation, providing easier access for students throughout the area.
The space will also accommodate more community events and workshops and provide increased community interaction for Asher College students.
“Las Vegas is very much a networking community,” said Bill Zavatchin, Las Vegas Director of Career Services. “Being exposed to those contacts are very important and the more our students are able to interact with the community, the greater the opportunities for advancement and employment.”
The campus officially opened on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, with a community open house planned later in the year.
“We are very excited about this opening,” said Bezek. “Many students are enthusiastic about this move and what it means for their education and careers. And that, after all, is what matters most.”
