Attendees will learn proper questioning and listening techniques, how to go beyond the surface in the discovery process and tips to emotionally engage prospective residents.
Resident Wellness Outcomes as a Function of Nursing Encounters
Christopher Dale, Administrator at Beth-Anne Place, and Susan Ericson, Director of Nursing at Deer Path of Huntley, will lead a discussion on how to improve nursing interactions with residents. Their discussion will help attendees identify components of successful nursing encounters, assess patient outcomes based on the quality of nursing interactions and integrate a wellness-focused approach to daily interactions with residents.
Conflict Management: Addressing What Matters Most
Amy Eubank, Corporate Trainer for Gardant, and Paul Snellenberger, Senior HR Consultant with People Etc., will give pointers on how to manage professional conflict. They will discuss ways to recognize opportunities to establish and maintain credibility while managing conflict, as well as provide tips to identify and implement strategies that build trust and effective working relationships.
