BMA Management Names Kourtnie Rohrbach as Director of Marketing for St. Anthony of Lansing
Bradley, IL (PRWEB) August 14, 2013 -- Kourtnie Rohrbach of Plainfield, Illinois, has been named Director of Marketing for St. Anthony of Lansing, a BMA affordable assisted living community.
The community, which is located at 3025 Spring Lake Drive in Lansing, Illinois, serves low-income seniors who need some help to maintain their independence.
“I am excited to be part of a great team of people that are bringing St. Anthony to Lansing. We are looking forward to serving older adults from southern Cook County and the surrounding areas,” Rohrbach said. “Our trained staff is dedicated to providing the care and assistance residents need, and we can’t wait to open the doors and welcome them into our beautiful community.”
Rohrbach previously served as the move-in coordinator for Heritage Woods of Plainfield, which is also managed by BMA.
The Joliet Catholic Academy alumnus graduated magna cum laude from Northern Illinois University. She is pursuing her master’s degree from NIU.
In addition to her experience at BMA communities, Rohrbach has served as a case manager and elder abuse investigator for the Senior Services Center of Will County and as a court-appointed advocate for CASA of Will County.
The St. Anthony of Lansing assisted living community is being developed on more than four acres of property on the east side of Chicago Ave., north of 178th St., in Lansing, Illinois. The community will open later this month. Reservations are being accepted.
"We will be providing older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," says St. Anthony Administrator Laurena Carter.
The community will combine residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services, such as meals, housekeeping and laundry.
Residents will live in private apartments that they will furnish and decorate to their tastes. Each of the apartments will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"Residents also will benefit from all of the opportunities that will be available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special programs," says Carter.
St. Anthony's will be certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which emphasizes personal choice, dignity, privacy and individuality.
The affordable assisted living community will be managed by BMA Management, Ltd., of Bradley, Illinois.
