Kane Is Able, Inc. Expands Atlanta Operations
Scranton, PA (PRWEB) October 01, 2013 -- Third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able, Inc. (KANE) announces that it is expanding its transportation and distribution services in the southeastern United States. KANE, a specialist in consumer product goods (CPG) logistics, is relocating from its existing facility in Lithia Springs, Georgia, and is expanding into a new 426,000-square-foot distribution center eight miles away at 1780 Westgate Parkway in Atlanta, Georgia.
The new building allows KANE to enhance its services to its current client base and to offer warehousing, distribution, contract packaging, deconsolidation, consolidation, and transportation services to the metro Atlanta market.
When renovations to the space are completed, the food-grade facility will be AIB certified. It offers convenient access to interstates I-20, I-285, I-85, I-75, and rail access to CSX Railroad. The building includes a professional office suite that will serve as KANE’s regional office for the southeast.
Renovations to the space are underway, and it is anticipated that the move will be completed by November 1st.
According to Pete Westermann, President and CEO of KANE, “This expansion of supply chain services in Atlanta is consistent with our goal of growing KANE while delivering logistics excellence for consumer goods companies coast to coast.”
