Atlas Distribution Company announced today that renowned composer Elia Cmiral will be returning for “Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt?”, the final installment of the Atlas Shrugged movie trilogy.
"I'm very excited to be back for Part III. Atlas Shrugged means a tremendous amount to me and I'm honored to return for the final installment,” said Elia Cmiral.
The movie trilogy follows the three-part structure of Ayn Rand’s 1957 novel, “Atlas Shrugged.” The dystopian story takes place in a not-so-distant future with the nation’s economy approaching collapse. While overreaching government regulations persist in strangling the country’s few remaining entrepreneurs, society’s most productive have mysteriously disappeared.
In addition to “Atlas Shrugged Part 1”, Elia Cmiral has worked on a slew of well known movies including “Ronin” starring Robert DeNiro, “Battlefield Earth” starring John Travolta, and “Wrong Turn” starring Eliza Dushku.
Elia has not only been tasked with scoring the film but also, at the request of Producer John Aglialoro, creating a "Dagny Taggart Theme."
“Elia’s ‘John Galt theme’ from part 1 was breathtakingly beautiful. Elia is a brilliant composer with a deep appreciation of Ayn Rand, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have him back.” said Producer John Aglialoro.
“Atlas Shrugged: Who is John Galt?” is scheduled to be in theaters September 2014. The prior two “Atlas Shrugged” movies are currently available on DVD & Blu-ray, iTunes, or streaming on Netflix and Amazon.
