Auto Detail Supplies Outlet Raises Funds as a Baldwin Park Business for Breast Cancer
Baldwin Park, CA (PRWEB) November 05, 2014 -- Earlier this month, thirty local businesses kicked off a month of raising funds and awareness to fight breast cancer at Baldwin Park Pizza Co. Auto Detail Supplies Outlet, a worldwide leader of the finest quality car care products, was proud to be one of those businesses, joining BP4BC, Business People 4 Breast Cancer for a month of fundraising. As featured in a San Gabriel Valley Tribune article, the BP4BC Cancer group was joined by a convoy of motorcycles and classic Volkswagens, rallied by Auto Detail Supplies Outlet for the kickoff event.
“This cause is very personal to me, as I am sure it is to most. I have a dear friend who is a six-year survivor of stage 4 breast cancer. We are doing this for her and for so many who have fought the battle and won and of course, for those who have not been as lucky. We are thrilled to do our part,” said ADSO Baldwin Park’s Becky Perez.
For the last month, Auto Detail Supplies collected a percentage of proceeds from some of their most popular products, raising nearly $1000. In addition, they continued their commitment, while vending at Thunderfest on October 11th, a big car show in downtown Covina. They wore their BP4BC pink shirts and passed out their BP4BC flyers to raise awareness, even offering free raffle tickets for prizes for anyone who donated to the cause.
ADSO is not only committed to help find a cure, but also committed to help prevent cancer, by purchasing the series "The Truth About Cancer" by Ty Bollinger, a complete library of alternative cancer protocols, and made this available to their customers. “To our awesome ADSO customers, thank you for helping us reach our goal and to Marietta at Baldwin Park Pizza Co. and Charlie at Taco Ready, thank you for starting this wonderful tradition that brought thirty local businesses together to participate in the fundraising event,” said Becky Perez. “Also, a special thank you goes out to REV winery and Tantrum Salon in Covina for their support, by providing raffle prizes.”
