Bobby Likis, automotive expert and host of nationally syndicated car-talk program “Bobby Likis Car Clinic,” shares the mic with Robert White, Vice President of Industry Relations of the Renewable Fuels Association, on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 10:41 a.m. ET.

Degreed in agricultural economics, a veteran of the agricultural industry and widely recognized as an expert on ethanol-related issues, White works with petroleum marketers and retailers, state and federal agencies, commercial fleets, and individual consumers to increase awareness about the benefits of ethanol and encourage greater development and use of renewable fuels.

This Saturday, White will share with Car Clinic audiences the progress of and barriers to the expansion of the E15 (15% ethanol-blended fuels) in the U.S. White previews, "E15 is now available to consumers who drive a 2001 & newer car, truck or SUV in 16 states with more to come. We are beginning to see the expansion of E15 pick up speed as large retailers like Sheetz and Kum & Go have made public commitments to E15." He adds, “This is also an exciting time for consumers as E15 broadens their options and gives them a lower cost, higher octane fuel.”

Likis remarks, “I’ll ask Robert about exporting ethanol to the United Arab Emirates. You’ll want to hear how UAE is capitalizing on the power and price performance of ethanol while many in the U.S. continue to resist.”
