Automotive Expert and Car-Talk Host Bobby Likis Welcomes the Arrival of Kia K900 for Evaluation
(PRWEB) June 06, 2014 -- Automotive expert and “Car Clinic” globalcast host Bobby Likis welcomed the arrival of a brand new Kia K900 today. Likis was invited to test drive and evaluate the 2015 K900 during a recent Car Clinic Network interview with Michael Sprague, Kia Motors America (KMA) Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Likis will take the car on a 600-mile road trip along the Gulf Coast to appraise long-distance as well as in-town driving. At the end of the week-long assessment, he will document and share his experience.
Says Likis, “I’m intrigued by the K900 and its arrival on the automotive scene. I plan to put the vehicle through the paces and evaluate the NVH (noise/vibration/harshness) factors that separate ‘luxury’ cars from the pack; the K900’s stopping, going and steering that are base-camp essentials; and the fit, feel and finish that enrich driving pleasure.”
The K900, boasting a 5-liter 420 horsepower V8 engine, is Kia’s first ever rear-drive luxury sedan, and is built to challenge the luxury sedan segment with an extensive list of standard equipment, world-class accommodations, premium driving dynamics and stunning design that aims to redefine consumer perception and expectations of the Kia brand.
“This year marks Kia Motors’ 20th anniversary in the U.S. market, and the all-new K900 is a symbol of how far the brand has come and the next bold example of the challenger spirit that has benefitted Kia over two decades of growth and maturation,” says KMA's Michael Sprague. “Kia’s rise over the last five years has been fueled by a willingness to challenge the status quo with vehicles such as the Optima, Sorento and Cadenza, which have brought new and more affluent customers to our showrooms and dramatically raised the profile of the brand while maintaining our value proposition. The K900 is the next logical progression for Kia. It demonstrates what Kia is capable of and will help redefine what the Kia brand stands for.”
