AvePoint Public Sector, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AvePoint, Inc., the enabler of enterprise collaboration across platforms and devices, today announced the integration of AvePoint Online Services with Microsoft Azure Government. With this integration, AvePoint Public Sector will join Microsoft’s government community cloud platform for U.S. state, local, and federal government agencies, which presents best-in-class partner services such as compute resources, storage, data, networking, and applications – all hosted in Microsoft datacenters located within the U.S. and managed by cleared U.S. personnel.

Azure Government provides hybrid, hyperscale, and enterprise-grade solutions that enable government agencies to run the operating systems, languages, and applications of choice in Microsoft’s government cloud, public cloud, or their own datacenter with a consistent platform as well as the flexibility and capacity to scale up or down on demand.

Additionally, AvePoint Public Sector was approved for the Managed Service Provider (MSP) program within Azure Government Services. This will enable Azure Services to be utilized for custom solutions deployment in public and private cloud environments – including AvePoint Innovative Business Solutions such as AvePoint Podium, which allows city and government officials to provide consistent engagement and communication with all citizens. Azure Government Services allows MSPs to create solutions and applications that integrate with the Microsoft Azure platform, as well as offer managed IT administration and support.

“Microsoft’s mission with Azure Government is to provide the most complete cloud for any government organization aiming to be more productive, agile, and efficient in today’s mobile-first, cloud-first world,” said Vince Menzione, General Manager of Microsoft’s Public Sector Partner business. “With the work that AvePoint Public Sector has done to integrate AvePoint Online Services with Azure Government, agencies are able to begin utilizing cloud services or scale their existing cloud platform with comprehensive solutions covering management, governance, and compliance.”
