AvePoint, the leader in governance, compliance, and management solutions for social enterprise collaboration platforms, today announced it will be the Major Sponsor of Microsoft TechEd Australia 2013. TechEd Australia is Microsoft’s premier technology conference for IT professionals and developers, taking place September 3-6 at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
“The Australian workforce is connecting, creating, and collaborating faster and more easily than ever before, using platforms such as Office 365, SharePoint, Yammer, and Dynamics – as well as Windows 8 and Office 2013 apps,” said Steven Miller, Business Group Lead, Microsoft Office Division. “As we celebrate 20 years of TechEd Australia, it is fantastic to have the continued support of AvePoint, whose vision is to help Microsoft customers collaborate with confidence. AvePoint’s contribution at TechEd, including sessions at the AvePoint Collaboration Theatre, will no doubt empower attendees to help their organisations reinvent the way they work.”
AvePoint will host the 60-seat “AvePoint Collaboration Theatre” located on the expo floor at the event. The theatre will be dedicated to technical best practices, tips, and demonstrations for enabling and growing social collaboration using Microsoft platforms and technologies. It will be a central hub for attendees to interact and get their questions answered by local and international Microsoft team members, Microsoft Certified Masters (MCM), Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs), industry experts, and customers. Theatre sessions are now listed on the TechEd schedule with session codes beginning with ACT.
