BD Group Industries, LLC Announces Majority Investment in Sagemis International SRL
Seminole, FL (PRWEB) July 29, 2014 -- BD Group Industries (“BDGI”), a worldwide energy solutions provider to the petrochemical, refinery and oil & gas industries, is pleased to announce that on June 27, 2014, it completed a major investment obtaining the controlling interest in Sagemis International, a company based in Porto Mantovano (MN), Italy, that designs and supplies a complementing portfolio of technologies for the petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas and environmental industries.
Sagemis International offers a wide range of products and services, including Flares, Thermal Oxidizers, Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers, and Sulphur Recovery Systems operating worldwide in different fields related to petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas and air pollution control. Sagemis supports its customers from three locations including a commercial office in Vimercate (MB), an administrative and service facility in Porto Mantovano (MN) and a manufacturing facility in Governolo (MN), that offers the strategic position of being situated next to the deep water shipping canal of Fissero-Tartaro and the Minicio River allowing for fast and easy transportation by ship to the main ports of Northern Italy and beyond.
Prior to the investment in Sagemis International, BD Group Industries holdings included BD Heat Recovery Division, Inc., a provider of Air Preheaters and Selective Catalytic Reduction systems, based in Seminole, Florida and BD Energy Systems, LLC., based in Houston, Texas, a Furnace Engineering Company specializing in design, supply and construction of Steam Reformers for Capital, Revamp and Furnace/energy efficiency improvement markets and applications.
