“I have always written since I was little and for me this was the best form of escapism. If you want to escape what better way than escaping to a fantasy world where anything is possible?” says author BL Murphy. Murphy’s new fantasy book, “Sacrifices” (published by AuthorHouse), allows readers to escape to a fantasy world along with the protagonists of the story.
When a group of London teenagers find themselves thrown into a new world filled with danger, they will have to rely on one another and their unique talents in order to survive. By presenting an array of personalities within the gender-diverse team of teens, Murphy assures that all readers will find a character to whom they relate.
An excerpt from “Sacrifices”:
“Faith was chuckling, but something quietened her. She wasn’t sure what it was, just a creeping feeling that seemed to be crawling over her skin. She found herself searching the sea of people for something that might be out of place—what, she didn’t know, but something. She saw him then for a brief moment amongst the dancers. Seth. He disappeared as quickly as she’d seen him, but he’d looked unsure of himself.”
Filled with action and adventure, “Sacrifices” is the first in the planned Immortal Bonds series.
