Young Adult and Adolescent "Failure to Launch" Programs Beginning in October at the Birmingham Maple Clinic
(PRWEB) September 04, 2013 -- Parents of young adults and adolescents that are experiencing a “Failure to Launch” will soon be receiving help from the Birmingham Maple Clinic, the leading mental health clinic in the Metro-Detroit area. Their new courses in a program called “The Right To Be The Grown-Up: Learning Skills To Effectively Parent Your Difficult Teen” will be essential for helping parents who have lost control of their children’s behavior, and want to help them reach the next stage of adulthood.
The first “Right To Be The Grown Up” course will start in October, and will include 10 hours of training for parents throughout the month of October. Parents will be given personal face-to-face training on how to regain control and rebalance the power in the family, help get their children’s lives back on track, and be reinforced with weekly homework assignments and mottos to remember.
