Baker Electric Solar Makes Four 2014 Top Solar Contractor Lists in Solar Power World Magazine
Escondido, Calif. (PRWEB) August 20, 2014 -- Baker Electric Solar, a San Diego-based solar company that designs, builds and installs photovoltaic solar power systems across Southern California, made four of Solar Power World magazine’s 2014 Top Solar Contractors in North America lists based on the total megawatts it installed in 2013.
Baker Electric Solar reported it has installed a total of 26.549 megawatts, with 5.608 megawatts installed in 2013. In the July 2014 Solar Power World tribute issue, Baker Electric Solar ranked #91 overall in the 2014 Top 400 Solar Contractors list. In addition it came in at #22 in the publication’s Top 100 Residential Contractor list, as well as #26 in the Top 100 California Contractors list. Baker also ranked #47 on the Top 50 EPCs (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) list.
The Solar Power World Top 400 Solar Contractors in North America print and digital issue lists were compiled by inviting solar companies to apply for the list through a web-based form. The solar companies provided basic information, total megawatts installed and the capacity they added during 2013. The companies were sorted based on 2013 installations. The Top 400 list was then divided into additional lists based on market segment – utility, commercial and residential, as well as other list categories including energy-friendly states, EPC, rooftop contractor, solar hot water installer and more.
Solar Power World is one of the solar industry’s leading media resources with its print and online publication, web site and social media outlets. This 2014 Top 400 list builds on last year’s version, which featured 250 companies. The list offers consumers and solar contractors a definitive look at how solar integrators nationwide stack up against their peers. The ranking includes companies small and large, privately owned and publicly traded.
