Stanwood, WA (PRWEB) October 25, 2013
Author Barbara Van Wagnen is a self-taught knitter. After falling in love with the art of knitting at a young age, she developed a thirst to knit that still, almost 50 years later, has not been quenched. “You Can Do It!: Knitting patterns for everyone...” (published by AuthorHouse) is her knitting guide that will help beginners, as well as seasoned pros, learn new tricks through helpful tips and guides.
From sweaters to socks and everything in between, Van Wagnen takes readers on a magical tour through the world of knitting with step-by-step guides on how to create their very own knitting experience. Each design has been laid out and explained in the very simplest form with pictures to help both visual and kinesthetic learners.
An excerpt from “You Can Do It!”:
“If you can cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, yarn over and bind off you can knit any pattern that catches your eye. Because of this “Can Do” attitude - I wanted a book of patterns that everyone can knit, no matter their experience. I hope you will have a lot of fun and success in knitting these patterns as I did in designing them.”
