Best in Class Education Center (Best in Class), a top-of-the-line education enrichment program that focuses on math and English, is proud to announce its newest opening in Cypress, TX, spearheaded by local entrepreneurs and education advocates, Tanmoy Kumar and Veronica Reyna.

Kumar and Reyna are opening the brand’s first of three franchise locations in Cypress at 7955 Barker Cypress Road, with a grand opening ceremony being held on March 12th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Those who attend will be able to take a tour of the facility and have the opportunity to sign up for free classes. The center will also be offering up to two weeks of free classes for anyone who switches to Best in Class from another learning center.

“Kumar and Reyna are both incredibly passionate about education, making them an ideal fit as franchisees for Best in Class,” said Hao Lam, Founder and CEO of Best in Class. “Their dedication to not only the learning process, but to community outreach, is commendable. We can’t wait to help them celebrate all the academic accomplishments their students will experience in the future.”

Kumar joins the brand with years of experience acting as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston. Born and raised in India, his passion for education started at a very young age. Meanwhile, Reyna is also a professor at a local college with notable degrees from Northwestern University and the University of Michigan.

“We both have backgrounds in education and we knew that we wanted to pursue a business for ourselves in that same industry,” Kumar said. “We live in Cypress and think it’s an underserved region for complementary education programs. We believe it’s a great community, and by creating additional opportunities to help children succeed in their studies, we have an opportunity to make it even better.”

The couple said they were drawn to the brand in part due to its specialized curriculum, as well as the fact that it caters to students from pre-kindergarten through high school.

“The commitment and passion the Best in Class corporate team shows their franchisees and students really drew us to the brand,” said Reyna. “We believe an early start in education is vital to a child’s future success and the brand allows us to make that impactful difference in their lives.”

Lam’s vision for Best in Class is to provide the best education possible – and the brand’s expansion in Texas is reflective of its recognizable achievements in the classroom. Tailored curriculum emphasizes cognitive understanding, allowing students to take the information and continue utilizing skills well into the future. This attention to detail has helped Best in Class position itself as the industry’s leading provider of complementary education to elementary, middle, and high school students.

The brand continues to grow and develop successfully in both new and existing markets thanks to the recognizable achievements students have experienced at its centers. Best in Class currently has 31 centers open in California, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Nevada. In 2016, the brand will open as many as 20 new locations, continuing expansion throughout the states it’s currently present in, while also expanding to new areas.

Based in Seattle, Best in Class ensures that it can “Give the Gift of a Lifetime,” and is dedicated to providing superior supplemental education to guarantee students’ individual success.
