Cincinnati, Ohio (PRWEB) May 12, 2015 -- Cincinnati-based human resources technology company BlackbookHR received a $1.2 million loan from Ohio Third Frontier, the state of Ohio’s technology-based economic development initiative.
The award comes through the Commercial Acceleration Loan Fund, which connects entrepreneurs and high-growth companies with capital. The program’s goal is to provide financing alternatives to help early-stage companies commercialize their products and get them to the marketplace.
BlackbookHR was awarded the loan to commercialize its suite of software products, which measure employee engagement, highlight how teams work together and map relationships between employees. Employers use that data to target their engagement efforts and drive business results.
The company will use the funding to further product development, customer acquisition and intellectual property efforts.
BlackbookHR’s award-winning solutions for teams and companies include:
• Presto, a free tool that helps teams collaborate.
• Sense, a smarter employee survey solution. With Sense, employees give their feedback in a hassle-free, easy-to-use platform. Leaders can immediately use that data to understand what drives engagement and how engagement impacts business outcomes.
• RNA, a tool that maps connections between people within an organization and helps leaders understand the potential impact of business decisions and talent changes.
