Fitness Business Summit 14 Names Dallas Wicker of Fit Body Boot Camp Santa Rosa Fitness Entrepreneur of the Year
Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- Fitness Business Summit, a popular 3-day fitness industry conference hosted in Costa Mesa, California and created by marketing expert Bedros Keuilian, names Dallas Wicker of Fit Body Boot Camp Santa Rosa “Fitness Entrepreneur of the Year” for the remarkable progress he has made in his business (along with co-owner Katie Switzer) and for his boot camp’s contribution in helping to improve the lives of those in his community.

Having to overcome some major obstacles in his personal life last year, Wicker says he worked hard to push through them so that he could continue to provide outstanding service to his boot camp members.
He explains, “Over this last year, I directed my unwavering focus on helping as many people as we could fit into our facility. But yes, I did have a few hurdles to overcome. I spent much of the year recovering from a rare kidney illness that almost took my life. I spent three months on dialysis and made a full recovery. In April of 2013, my house burned down, which presented a whole new set of difficulties for me personally. But I made my way through those ordeals and our organization is now more successful than ever before.”
Wicker’s business partner and co-owner of Santa Rosa Fit Body Bootcamp Katie Switzer says she, “I am so incredibly proud of my partner and best friend Dallas and of the whole team here at Santa Rosa Fit Body Bootcamp. Santa Rosa Fit Body Bootcamp has accomplished quite a bit throughout this past year. Some of their major achievements over the last 12 months include: serving over 1,500 locals and helping them to lose over 5,000 lbs, helped eliminate the necessity for thyroid medication and insulin for clients suffering with diabetes through their innovative fitness and nutrition programs, raised over $1,200 for the American Heart Association and donated dozens of coats to homeless children in Sonoma County through their annual “Coats for Kids Drive”.
Hoping to continue their success in helping others to live a healthier lifestyle, Santa Rosa Fit Body Bootcamp is launching a 6-Week Transformation Challenge for 35 lucky participants who have been waiting access to the program, which has been at max capacity for the last 4 months. Wicker says, “Our program has become pretty exclusive. Everyone wants in, but we only have so much room. I wish I had a stadium to train everyone in”.
