Boyz II Men/Sony/Epic Label Talent, Uncle Sam Releases Global Hit Titled ‘Free’ - R&B Music/90s R&B
Los Angeles, Ca (PRWEB) August 03, 2016 -- R&B legend Uncle Sam from the official Boyz II Men Label is back in the spotlight with a new single titled ‘Free’. Popular releases in the late nineties such as “I Don’t Ever Want To See You Again” are still enjoyed by listeners worldwide with over 7 million views on Vevo and reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Sam has been signed to Sony/Epic and has been known to tour worldwide with industry legends such as Boyz II Men, K-Ci & JoJo, Destiny’s Child, Next Mia, and more. His album reached Gold status along with being included in the score of hit shows such as “Touched By An Angel. Currently he is partnered with ShyDog Productions to launch new music and syndicate to radio, streaming services, and other channels.
In regards to Free, Sam explains that it “will speak directly into the heart of anyone who has to be free to themselves before they die!!! God made man and he said it was good...free…”. Further he notes that he is “ready to go where I’ve never been doing things I’ve never done! This music is the vehicle that’s going to take us there! Sam has always brought a high-caliber of perfectionism and quality to his music. His previous self-titled album was in part composed by Shawn Stockman, one of the voices of Boyz II Men, along with legendary producers such as Jimmy Jam Harris & Terry Lewis known to be associated with acts such as Michael Jackson, Prince, Usher, Mariah Carey, and countless others.
When asked about Sam’s music inspirations he notes that they are “too many to mention because I’m such a lover of music but if I had to pick I would say Donny Hathaway”. He is excited to be filming the new music video for free along with a movie this summer. As far as his past experiences with Boyz II Men and Stone Creek he explains that because of his “association with Boyz II Men, I met many top entertainers, actors, actresses, and executives. Now some of the people that I became friends with that root for me, are in very high places. I’m really excited to reunite with some of the greatest artists, actors and executives of all time, at the places whether the elite gather. Good times to come!”
