For over 20 years, Dr. Bradley Kurgis has been practicing dermatology in the central coast region. He has seen a number of new developments in the dermatological field over the years, but what he is excited about this time around is not a new technique or procedure. It is a new payment system.
The CareCredit payment system has recently been added to Kurgis’ practice. "We are constantly looking for ways to improve our practice. Sometimes that means researching new techniques and procedures that become available, but in this instance it was a new payment system. We feel as though the CareCredit system is going to make our services more readily available to patients, and make their experience easier and more enjoyable. That benefits everyone."
CareCredit is a credit card that is specific to healthcare needs. Kurgis envisions this system as making his services more readily accessible to his patients, while also offering promotions that accompany the card. Kurgis then offered some advice on how to best use the card. "We have been recommending to patients that they use the card to take advantage of the promotional offer," said Kurgis. "Patients can avoid paying interest on the card if they make their monthly minimum payments and then pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. It’s a great opportunity for everyone involved." Kurgis then added that there are several additional benefits to using the CareCredit system, such as no annual fees, a revolving line of credit and low minimum monthly payments.
Kurgis Dermatology offers a number of healthcare services, including various skin and hair therapies. Kurgis has emphasized that it is the goal of his practice to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care using the most advanced and cutting-edge techniques. He was quick to note that CareCredit will contribute to that goal. "We pride ourselves on our ability to serve our patients," said Kurgis. "We rely on our knowledge and expertise to offer them the best care possible. The new CareCredit system is just another aspect of caring for the patient and ensuring they have the best possible opportunity for care. I think it is a wonderful system."
