New Poetry Book Details Beauty and Scars Left by Little Thing Called Love
ABERDEEN, Scotland (PRWEB) June 28, 2014 -- Author Brian Gorman dedicates his “Broken Words” (published by Xlibris UK) to those who are in love; those who have been in love; and those who had fallen out of love. Telling a story of a love cherished yet lost, these delightful poems show readers the happiness and the sadness brought about by that little thing called love.
According to Gorman, “This is about love, falling in love, being in love, being abandoned by love. Perhaps there are parts of this journey with which you can or will identify. This book is raw, full of moments, photographs of those moments in words.”
As he revisits memory lane, Gorman uses his picturesque words to bring readers to the time when he was enjoying his one unforgettable love — his romance with Katrina. This account details their shared moments and their moments of intimacy. Yet as that rendezvous came to a complete halt, Gorman tells of the devastation and hurt he went through — a feeling that resulted because of losing his deeply beloved.
Relatable and soulful, the lyrical revelations of Gorman’s “Broken Words” make readers see the beauty of a love and feel the wretchedness of a person who has lost his one great love. Undeniably communicative, this memoir takes readers on roller-coaster ride of love.

About the Author
Brian Gorman was born in Nairn, a small town in the North East of Scotland. Life thereafter became something of a nomadic adventure living in various parts of Scotland, Singapore and England. He finally settled in Aberdeen at the age of 11 where he continues to live. Gorman married, divorced, has a wonderful son and godson. Due to his travels, Gorman attended 15 schools, yet nowhere is home. Gorman tells us that he continues to try his best in life, in his own peculiar way, searching for his dolphin and freedom.
