Pacific Prime clients with Bupa International are recently seeing improvements to their medical cover as the renowned insurance provider has recently increased the limits on maternity benefits for its Bupa Worldwide Health Option and Premier Worldwide Health Option plans.
Specifically, the maternity benefit for the Worldwide Medical Insurance option has expanded its coverage and has increased to US$13,600 (€10,000). Previously, the benefit for childbirth and related hospital treatments was US$11,050 (€8,100). The limit for the maternity benefit on the Worldwide Medical Plus has also increased from US$3,400 (€2500) to US$5,100 (€3,750).
Bupa has stated the enhancement is "a great offer for members and should be highlighted to those who could benefit from this". Although Bupa had been leading the international insurance market for many years, the maternity benefit was not one of its most competitive key points. However, with the recent improvements in the cover, Bupa is showing that they aim to provide their clients the best international healthcare cover in all areas moving forward.
Bupa Worldwide Health Option (or BWHO) is a flexible and modular insurance plan for individuals and families. The plan includes core coverage with essential hospital treatment and additional cover options that clients can add to the plan according to their individual conditions and needed treatments.
Premier Worldwide Health Option (or PWHO) is also a modular plan, and it was one of the first international private insurance plans in China to cover pre-existing conditions.
Bupa International is part of the Bupa Group, and they serve over 14 million customers in 190 countries. Members of Bupa can access over 200,000 medical providers and a network of over 7,500 recognized hospitals worldwide. Bupa employs more than 62,000 people in Europe, Oceania, America, Middle East and Southeast Asia.
