CFO on the go, a Sage Construction Software provider based in Southern California, has announced they have consolidated sales and marketing resources with RealWare, Inc. At the same time, the company has also launched a new QuickBooks Review and Assessment Program. The strategic relationship with RealWare expands the company’s presence into Northern California and among larger construction firms, while the new QuickBooks program is designed for small but growing contractors. Together, these moves broaden the range of resources and services in what CFO on the go feels is a recovering construction market and resurgent demand for construction software and technology.
CFO on the go is one of the largest authorized providers of Sage 100 Contractor (formerly Sage Master Builder) with more than 1,600 customers served by over 20 Sage Certified Consultants. RealWare is a leading provider of Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate (formerly Sage Timberline Office) for mid-sized and larger contractors. With this strategic move, CFO on the go has added six more Sage Certified Consultants. In addition, David Bennett, who has over 25 years of experience in the property management and construction industry, will be filling the role of VP of Sales for CFO. The combined companies now provide Sage construction software sales, support, and training throughout the Western U.S., with a major presence in California as well as satellite offices that serve Colorado, Texas, and North Carolina.
Dennis Feidner, founder of CFO on the go, says the recent downturn in the construction market has taught contractors about the importance of construction management technologies. “Construction is on the rebound and so is the demand for construction management software. Builders and contractors know they can’t get by any longer with the old technology they were using. The companies who have weathered the storm are upgrading their software to stay profitable and make their business more efficient.”
While the strategic partnership with RealWare bolsters the company’s resources to serve larger construction firms, CFO on the go is also turning their attention to smaller contractors with the new QuickBooks Review and Assessment program. Feidner explains, “QuickBooks can be an excellent accounting and project management tool for small contractors, but it must be set up and maintained correctly. Our new QuickBooks diagnostic checkup provides small builders with a comprehensive analysis and written report of findings to help them determine how to optimize QuickBooks for better growth and profitability.”
For Feidner, the moves reflect a commitment by CFO on the go to provide solutions for the lifetime of their clients’ businesses . “We’ve always done a great job of supporting Sage 100 Contractor for companies that fall somewhere in the middle. Now we’ve beefed up our presence on both the low and high end of the construction market so we can provide our clients with a path to growing their business with affordable technology, regardless of size.”
