Consulting Management Innovators Announces J. Michael Hoehn as President
Little Rock, AR (PRWEB) October 02, 2014 -- Consulting Management Innovators (CMI), an association management company providing consulting and management services to evolving healthcare associations, is naming J. Michael Hoehn to the role of president. Currently Executive Vice President and former Vice President of Business Development, Hoehn will focus on strategic initiatives to support the firm’s recent client growth and enable future expansion.
CMI President and CEO Cheri Lattimer, RN, BSN, remarked, “CMI has grown to provide not only association management services but also extensive consulting and product development support to our clients. It is important that we are able to work with our clients to achieve success and to assist our staff in growth and skill development at the same time. Michael will lead the staff through the day to day challenges and opportunities CMI faces which will allow me to focus on supporting and guiding our association clients.”
Lattimer remains CEO of CMI and will also continue her role as Executive Director of two CMI clients: the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) and the National Transitions of Care Coalition. Hoehn will oversee all association management operations for all clients including CMSA, NTOCC, the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN) and the Case Management Foundation (CMF).
During Hoehn's eight-year tenure at CMI, his ability to develop strong relationships has advanced business-to-business efforts for CMI’s healthcare-focused association clients, helping to grow CMI’s client roster from one association to four, and adding additional product and service lines. In addition, his thought leadership as Executive Vice President in recent years has provided a strong foundation for CMI as a rapidly expanding association management company.
”This is an exciting time in association management. Challenges to traditional business models are being balanced by new ways to connect people and deliver value to association members by helping them become more efficient, effective and competitive in their professional lives,” Hoehn said. “I’m eager to work with our existing clients in delivering innovative and effective association products and programs as well as looking at new opportunities to work with growing and evolving associations.”
Previous to CMI, Hoehn's 20-year experience in business consulting across several industries provided him with opportunities to work directly with clients such as Sanofi U.S., GE Plastics, BP Amoco, , Mobil Oil, PepsiCo, Kraft Foods and The Wall Street Journal. Hoehn is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and has served on the ASAE Healthcare Community Committee for the past three years. He received a bachelor of arts in history from Arizona State University and is a strong supporter of historical activities, having served as a volunteer with the Colorado Historical Society and the Civil War Preservation Trust. In addition, he is a board member for the Colorado Chapter of the ASU Alumni Association and volunteers his advice and expertise with community service boards in the Metro Denver area.
