Placement on CRN’s Tech Elite 250 demonstrates our investment in training and practical experience, and reaching sales and service goals, which have brought us Platinum, Gold and Premier status with HPE, HP, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and more.
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 05, 2016
Derive Technologies announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named the company to its 2016 Tech Elite 250 list. This annual list honors an exclusive group of North American IT solution providers that have earned the highest number of advanced technical certifications from leading technology vendors.
To compile the annual list, The Channel Company’s research group and CRN editors work together to identify the most customer-beneficial technical certifications in the North American IT channel. Companies who have obtained these elite designations— which enable solution providers to deliver premium products, services and customer support—are then selected from a pool of online applicants.
Kirit Desai, Derive’s CEO, said, "in a year of significant change in the Channel, we’re honored to have been named again to CRN’s Tech Elite 250 list." He continued: "Our industry recognizes that we have met sales and service levels, and that we've invested in thousands of hours of training and practical experience, which have brought us Platinum partnerships with the new Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), and with HP, Inc., as well as Microsoft Gold Partner status, and continued premiere relationships with long-time partners, VMware, Apple and Citrix." Mr. Desai went on to say, "In addition, we've expanded our relationship with Cisco – Derive is now not only certified in Cisco networking solutions, but also in the complete Cisco UCS suite – and Lenovo, having reached Lenovo’s coveted “Topseller” status.” “We’ve even rebranded,” Mr. Desai went on to say, “with a new, responsive website, and new branding and messaging, all more closely aligned with the innovations in our industry and our partners.”
“The solution providers selected for our annual Tech Elite 250 list have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and gained strong industry credibility by earning some of the most difficult IT certifications available from top technology vendors,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “Attainment of these exclusive certifications strengthens the channel as a whole by invigorating partnerships and enabling the delivery of exceptional customer service. We congratulate each of these organizations and look forward to their continued success.”
Mr. Desai said: “We’re honored, as we have been for the past four years in row, to be again on the Tech Elite 250 list, as it lets our clients, prospects, and partners know that we, in concert with our partners, are ready to meet critical business needs such as the move by corporations and government and public sector agencies to the cloud and IoT, to hybrid and composable infrastructure and to converged systems, addressing cybersecurity, expanding mobility, and meeting ever-changing compliance challenges.”
