Captain D’s Franchise Development Team Further Strengthens with the Addition of Lori Osley

With Growth Goals Set, the Former Sonic Development Expert Bolsters the Brand’s Efforts in Key States

Still riding the momentum of three years of same-store sales growth, Captain D’s has announced that it is adding another new member to bolster its development team.

Lori Osley, CFE, has joined Captain D’s as Senior Director of Franchise Development. Osley comes to the brand following a highly successful tenure in development for Sonic Drive-In’s, where she played a critical role in cultivating leads, signing new franchisees and growing the brand. She was instrumental in leading their growth strategy, which allowed the company to exceed growth expectations.

“Lori has documented success and a vast knowledge of the franchise-sales process, as well as a strong understanding of how to develop key markets,” Captain D’s Chief Development Officer Michael Arrowsmith said. “She will play a vital role in the success of our brand, which will result in significant expansion of Captain D’s in the near future.”

Captain D’s is 520 units strong and has put in place a wide-scale growth strategy to further develop the brand. Its current strategy includes refining their new prototype buildings, opening new restaurants that produce above-system ROI and exploring non-traditional growth opportunities. In her role, Osley will focus on Captain D’s top development markets in the Midwest, which include Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

As Captain D’s enters its 45th year of business, the seafood chain intends to add to its number of corporate and franchise-owned restaurants.
