CarHistory.us.org To Create Summer Driving Safety Guide
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 23, 2014 -- CarHistory.us.org is creating a new guide to let drivers know the unique perils of driving during the summer months, the company announced yesterday.
“Whether it's a weekend getaway or a driving cross-country to visit family, millions of Americans will be hitting the road this summer,'' he said. “But not many know that there are specific issues with summertime driving. We hope our guide can educate people and keep them safe when they head out this summer.”
The CarHistory.us.org guide will review tips for driving as well as car maintenance, he said.
“Our first mandate is to make sure drivers keep in mind the little things that can be forgotten after a long, hard winter,” he said. “Then we also want to take them through what a summertime car emergency kit should include. And lastly, we'll have a resource list of items such as windshield sunscreens to consider purchasing before a long trip.”
While CarHistory.us.org has turned to experts to create the guide, the staff was also asked about their own experiences with summertime driving, he said.
“This guide is for regular drivers, and we wanted to get real stories so that people know our advice is not just a bunch of hot air,” he said. “We feel that our own experiences have added a special touch to this guide, and we hope it's well received.”
The company is preparing for a launch around the Memorial Day holiday weekend, he said.
