CarHistoryDatabase.org Creating Maintenance Guide For Used Cars
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- CarHistoryDatabase.org is set to create a comprehensive guide to how to best maintain a used car, the company announced yesterday.
“A used car can last a couple of months, or it can last several years,” a CarHistoryDatabase.org spokesman said. “It all depends on how the owner maintains it. Most people don't understand what they need to do to maintain a vehicle, so we'd like to help them with that.”
The guide will have two main thrusts, he said. First, it will try to help people keep the car on the road as long as possible. Secondly, it will help people make sure their car retains its resale value.
“Many people buy a used car as a stopgap until they can improve their credit rating and get a good deal on a new car,” he said. “Those people want to end up with a trade-in value that is similar to what they paid for the used car in the first place. We believe that we can help them with that.”
The guide will be geared toward the average consumer, who does not have any mechanical experience, he said.
“We want to make sure someone's grandmother who has never held a wrench in her life can get useful information out of this guide,” he said. “We'll take things one step at a time and explain them in very simple terms. It's really not that hard to maintain a vehicle once you have the right materials at your disposal.”
