CarHistoryUSA.com Launching Guide On Long-Term Value Of Used Cars
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 09, 2014 -- CarHistoryUSA.com is about to release a guide that will help people understand the long-term value of the used cars they are thinking of buying, the company said yesterday.
“For a lot of people, one of the most important things is not what the car is worth today but what it will be worth a few years from now,” a CarHistoryUSA.com spokesman said. “They want to know whether or not they'll be able to get a reasonable trade-in when they want a different car down the road. We can help them with that.”
The guide will be based on statistical trends of used car values over the past two decades, he said.
“There is plenty of information out there about how quickly or slowly different makes and models depreciate in value,” he said. “We can extrapolate from that information to give consumers a sense of how much long-term value they will get from the automobile. We think this will help people when they are choosing which used car to buy.”
The guide will be available on the CarHistoryUSA.com site and, in certain cases, in the reports themselves, he said.
“If a car is very likely to retain much of its value, we'll include that in the report,” he said. “And if the car is known to be likely to lose much of its value, we'll include that as well. We want people to have this information at their fingertips.”
